Bio

Before starting IP career, Mr. JIN was an assistant professor of the North China University of Technology. Mr. JIN worked in an intellectual property investigation company since 1998, focusing on intellectual property infringement investigation and evidence collection, as well as administrative investigation, customs protection, and exhibition rights protection. After that, Mr. JIN worked in China Sinda Intellectual Property Ltd. for three years and then went to King & Wood Mallesons Law Firm where he mainly engaged in trademark registration application and intellectual property infringement litigation. From 2005 to 2009, Mr. JIN worked in a Japanese IP agency where he provided a wide range of professional services involving Chinese and Japanese intellectual property rights to numerous clients in Japan and abroad. After returning to China in 2009, Mr. JIN joined Beijing Insight Intellectual Property Attorneys to develop the Japanese market. Since January 2018, Mr. JIN joined Intelight IP Law Firm as a senior partner. He will keep on offering strong support in intellectual property aspect for domestic enterprises and individuals to develop the Japanese market with full enthusiasm, rich experience and professional services.

Mr. Jin’s wide range of expertise includes Japanese intellectual property business consulting, market research, strategic planning, patent prosecution, translation and proofreading of patent documents, application, transfer, cancellation, review, opposition, invalidation of trademark registration, Intellectual property infringement investigation and evidence collection, administrative investigation, customs protection, exhibition rights protection, domain name disputes, intellectual property infringement lawsuits.
